People always complain that they regain all of the weight they lost while dieting after the diet is over. This is a very common problem. Most people don’t understand why they regain the weight. The answer, as usual, is very simple. They stopped. They stopped watching what they ate. They stopped paying attention to calorie content and portion size. And, they stopped exercising.
People assume there is an ‘end’ to the diet. Most people think that once they reach their goal weight, the diet is over. They believe they can now resume their normal eating and exercise habits and keep their new body. But the normal eating and exercise habits are what resulted in the extra weight in the first place. If you repeat habits that created a problem, the problem will reappear.

Feeling weighed down by the dieting-litany of “can’t”s and “should”s? I can’t eat any breads, hamburgers, desserts, or french fries. I must not drink soda or those lovely high calorie frozen coffee drinks. I should drink more water, eat more fish, and I should most definitely eat more fruits and vegetables.

Cellulite is caused by clumps of fat cells that push up against the surrounding fibrous connective tissue, resulting in dimpling of the skin usually around your butt and thighs. In lay terminology, it is fat that pushes through cell walls into the middle layer of skin and shows through to the surface. Cellulite is not caused by excess weight. That is a myth. Researchers have found that due to genetics, even skinny people are cursed with cellulite. The big question is, how do we get rid of it?

We all count calories. Okay, maybe we don’t count them exactly, but we are aware of them. We know just by looking at them, that some food items are more costly to our figure than others. And we know the impact of the food depends on the calorie content. So even if we don’t tabulate every calorie we consume, we can estimate based on what we ate that day if we’ve overindulged. And then we worry how our excess will impact our weight.
