Dehydration can definitely cause a headache.</description>

For example, if it is "the worst ever" or accompanied by nausea, vomiting, visual disturbances, or other symptoms, it may be a sign of something more serious and should not be taken lightly. Please note, I am writing this from my wife's hospital room where she is recovering from meningitis - the symptoms of which were a severe headache accompanied by nausea.</description>
