Stress May Be #1 Factor In Getting Colds & Flu

Do you remember how your mom always used to tell you not to go outside or else you’d catch a cold?  Well, it wasn’t bad advice.  Of course the cold weather doesn’t cause colds, but it does depress the strength of your immune system.

But even worse than cold weather is the immuno-depressant of everyday stress.   In fact, stress may be the number one immuno-depressant in the modern world, especially since almost everyone has indoor heat.

Reducing the stress in your life can be one of the most effective methods you have for staying cold and flu free, other than getting a flu shot (sorry, there still is no vaccination against the common cold).

Give your body the nutrition it needs, try to eliminate the sources of stress in your life, and you’ll find that the frequency of getting sick will decrease significantly, if not completely.
