Lazy summer days make you want to lie in the hammock in your backyard sipping on a cool drink and daydream or read. What could be more enjoyable than an afternoon spent like that? Not too many things, right. But there is a potential problem hidden in this image. The problem with this picture isn’t the rest and relaxation, although I’m sure there are a thousand chores that could and should be attended too. It is the drink you are sipping on that could ruin your lazy afternoon.

Summer cocktails that won’t ruin your diet

Summer is the season for get-togethers. Barbeques, cook-outs, happy hours…doesn’t matter what you call it, people like to get together with their friends. Most of these events will involve cocktails and/or beer. This can prove fatal to a diet. The majority of the alcoholic drinks served at these soirees are chock full of unwanted calories. So how do you avoid the calories and still enjoy a few glasses of liquid refreshment, of the alcoholic sort of course.
